Modes of Treatment

YOUR FIRST VISIT TO SANARE SANCTUARY

A comprehensive evaluation will be performed. This will include your physical health as well as lifestyle factors that may affect your condition.

Please bring past medical records, lists of nutritional supplements and medications you are taking, as well as those you have taken in the past for a substantial period of time. (If possible, bring in the actual bottles of the supplements you are taking.)

Allow at least an hour and a half for your first visit. It is best to plan on being in the office approximately two hours. We pride ourselves on not overbooking and we generally run on time; however it is best to allow a little extra time so you have time to check in and out without rushing.

The modes of treatment can include acupuncture, homeopathic, nutritional therapies, yoga therapy, massage and/or energy healing therapies. Nutritional, lifestyle, and stress management counseling may also be included. In additional to providing relief from suffering, we are looking to provide long-term solutions. We seek to identify the cause of the condition as well as treating the symptoms. Our intention is to partner with you in creating optimal health.The goal of the first visit is to establish a Personalized Wellness Action Plan designed specifically for you and your needs.

Traditional Treatment

Under the direct supervision of Dr. Ravinder Singh, the latest technologies in diagnosis and traditional medical treatments are used to treat immediate symptoms and aid in diagnosing the root of the condition.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is the second most widely used system of medicine in the world. Its growth in popularity in the United States has been around 25 to 50 percent a year throughout the last decade.*

Homeopathy is an advanced form of immuno-empowering system of medicine that strengthens our defenses to fight diseases. It is not just curative, but plays a vital preventative role in overall wellbeing.

This success is fueled by several factors:

  • Homeopathy is extremely effective. When the correct remedy is taken, results can be rapid, complete and permanent.
  • Homeopathy is completely safe. Even babies and pregnant women can use homeopathy without the danger of side effects. Homeopathic remedies can also be taken alongside other medication without producing unwanted side effects.
  • Homeopathy is natural. Homeopathic remedies are normally based on natural ingredients.
  • Homeopathy works in harmony with your immune system, unlike some conventional medicines which suppress the immune system. (For example, cough medicines suppress the cough reflex, which is your body’s attempt to clear the lungs)

Yoga Therapy

As preventive medicine, yoga can reduce stress, relax and improve the function of the nervous system, lower the need for medication, lower blood pressure, blood sugar and improve immune and lung function.

Yoga can override the negative impact of stress physiology and is an important practice to incorporate into any lifestyle in order to avoid the ill effects of stress on the body.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a component of the health care system that can be traced back at least 2,500 years. The general theory of acupuncture is based on the premise that there are patterns of energy flow (Qi) through the body that are essential for health. Disruptions of this flow are believed to be responsible for disease. Acupuncture may, it has been theorized, correct imbalances of flow at identifiable points close to the skin.

Massage Therapy

It addresses physical illness, as well as emotional and mental disorders. Energy Medicine promotes a high level of wellness and peak performance.
